Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Aritmetika Sosial Kelas VII-F SMP Jembatan Budaya

Abstract
Matematika untuk SMP disajikan dengan lebih banyak materi dan tentu saja lebih rumit karena pembelajaran lebih menekankan pada pemecahan masalah. Dalam pembelajaran matematika materi aritmetika sosial siswa kelas VII F SMP Jembatan Budaya masih banyak siswa yang belum tuntas (dibawah KKM 66). Oleh karena itu perlu suatu upaya dan tindakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan penerapan model problem based learning. Dalam Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII F SMP Jembatan Budaya melalui penerapan model problem based learning pada materi aritmetika sosial. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII F SMP Jembatan Budaya yang berjumlah 24 orang, terdiri dari 8 orang siswa perempuan dan 16 orang siswa laki-laki. Untuk menganalisis hasil penelitian, data yang dkumpulkan meliputi hasil belajar siswa dan hasil observasi guru. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus meliputi 4(empat) tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan Evaluasi serta refleksi. Pada penelitian ini tindakan dikatakan berhasil apabila sekurang-kurangnya 85% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 66. Berdasarkan analisis tindakan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 62,50% dengan nilai rata-rata 68,41 dan pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 87,50% dengan nilai rata-rata 77,91 (2) Skor aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70% dan pada siklus II sebesar 84%. Dari hasil yang diperoleh tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I hasil belajar belum sesuai harapan yang berarti indikator keberhasilan belum tereapai sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar sudah sesuai harapan yang berarti indikator keberhasilan sudah tercapai.
